When our bees move to higher pastures in mid-summer, they forage whatever's blooming — meadowfoam, wild clover, thistle, fireweed, wildflowers whose names we don't always know but whose nectar tells us exactly where they've been.
What comes back to the hive is Mountain Flower honey: darker, more robust, with an earthy floral depth you'll taste on the finish. It's a complex honey, and every year it's a little different depending on what bloomed.
