Privacy Policy

Effective: April 2026 · Last updated: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Golden Brew LLC ("Golden Brew," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit goldenbrewhoney.com, purchase our products, or contact us. By using our website or providing your information, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us when you place an order, fill out a contact or pollination form, or join our email list: your name, email address, shipping/billing address, phone number, the items you purchase, and any message you send us.
  • Payment information: card payments are processed directly by Square. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Information collected automatically when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and online identifiers (including cookie and advertising IDs), collected via cookies and similar technologies. With your consent, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel collects this for advertising measurement (see Section 5). We do not load the Pixel until you accept non-essential cookies.

2. How we use your information

  • To fulfill, ship, and confirm your orders, and to send shipping updates;
  • To respond to your messages and inquiries;
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and products;
  • With your consent, to measure and improve our advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — see Section 5;
  • To comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. How we share information

We share only the information needed to run the business, with providers acting on our behalf:

  • Square — payment processing;
  • USPS and other carriers — shipping your orders;
  • Email/hosting providers — sending order confirmations and updates and hosting the site;
  • Meta — if you accept non-essential cookies, the Meta Pixel shares online identifiers and your activity on our site with Meta to measure and deliver our advertising, including retargeting. Under California law this may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your name, email, address, or phone number with advertising partners for their own marketing. Our only "sharing" for advertising is the consent-based Meta Pixel described above, which you control (see Sections 5 and 6).

4. Data retention

We keep order and contact information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide support, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then securely delete or anonymize it.

5. Cookies, tracking & your choices

Essential cookies (and similar storage) keep the site working and remember your cookie choice; these are always on. Non-essential advertising cookies — the Meta Pixel — are not loaded until you accept them on the banner shown on your first visit.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer, which reopens the banner. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends GPC, we automatically treat it as an opt-out and do not load the Pixel. You may also control cookies in your browser settings.

6. Your rights & choices

We strive to honor the same core privacy rights for everyone, regardless of where you live. Depending on your state of residence, these include:

  • Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes for using it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
  • Right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to deletion of your personal information, subject to limited exceptions (for example, information we must keep to complete an order or meet a legal, tax, or accounting obligation).
  • Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your information for money; our only "sharing" is the consent-based Meta Pixel described above. To opt out, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer, decline non-essential cookies, or send a Global Privacy Control signal — all of which we honor.
  • Right to data portability — to receive the information you provided in a usable format.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you products, charge a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised these rights.
  • No solely-automated decisions — we do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.

How to exercise these rights: email info@goldenbrewhoney.com. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity (typically by confirming the name and email associated with your request) before we respond. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with your written authorization. We will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal; we will explain how in our response.

You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any such email; we may still send order- and shipping-related messages.

7. Children's privacy

Our site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice on the site.
